Yaroslav Kostko is a young sculptor known for his outstanding works that adorn the streets of Ukrainian and foreign cities, private collections, parks. Statues that impress with emotionality, dynamics and expressiveness – become symbols of our time, the spirit of the nation, corporate style.
Sculptures by a Ukrainian author are close to each of us, regardless of status and wealth, place of residence and worldview. Participation in exhibitions and awards is only a small confirmation that the works of this sculptor are in demand and intuitively understood by people from different countries, different ages and genders, nationalities and professions.
Biography
Born on February 21, 1986, in Noviy Rozdil, Lviv region, Ukraine.
2003-2009 – studied at the Department of monumental and decorative sculpture at Lviv National Academy of Arts, Master degree.
2009 – enrolled in the position of lecturer of Department of monumental and decorative sculpture at Lviv National Academy of Arts, which currently occupied.
2011-2015 – studied at the postgraduate study at the Lviv National Academy of Arts.
2017 – become a member of sculpture section of National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
A participant in a number of International and Ukrainian sculpture symposiums, exhibitions and projects.
A number of works are in private collections and installed on the objects in Ukraine and other countries.
Lives and works in Lviv, Ukraine.
